Sep. 09, 1972 - Olympic-Perchten in Munich. Hair-raising but beautiful monsters called Perchten had come to attend the opening of an exhibition called Olympic Games of gnomes of 32 year old Munich painter and graphic artists Andreas Angerer between his guests. Centre of attraction are 12 Bavarian Perchten (not the big ones on the picture of course) figuring several Olympic competitions. During the Olympic Games the Perchten which visited the young artist will seven times perform their ritual Perchten-Dance at the German Museum in Munich. Note: Perchten are figures of a traditional folk-play which is performed once a yaer at the Salzburg-area
