Sep. 01, 1977 - The funeral Yuri Soloviev, a star and principle dancer with the Kirov Ballet, was held Monday in the presence of a number of famous personalities that came to pay hommage to the People's Artist of the USSR. Last week his wife found him dead in their datcha situated 50km outside of Moscow. A gun was found near his body, but it is unknown if it was a suicide, an accident, or if foul play was involved. Here he is pictured in full dress for a performance
