Sep. 09, 1980 - Jinski The Dancing jumbo Comes To Town: 1979 World Disco Dancing Champion Julie Brown will be riding high when she presents the prizes at the Empire Ballroom this evening. She'll take to the floor on Jinski the Disco Dancing Jumbo to present the prizes at the Thames Regional Final of the 1980 UK Disco Dancing Championship. Twelve young dancers (not including jinski) are competing for prizes and the chance to compete in the UK final in October. Today Jinski made the trip up to the West End from Battersea where he is appearing in David Smart's Circus.
