Dec. 18, 1952 - 18-12-52 Blind couple give concert in Vienna Concert Hall Lotte Swoboda, a young blind violinist, and Otto Binder, a blind pianist, were given a big reception after they had given a concert at Vienna concert hall. They are both members of the Vienna Concert Union for blind musicians, the only union of its kind in the world. Binder reads notes in braille with his left hand, whilst playing the other, but Lotte Swoboda has to learn the notes by braille and memorize them.
