Jan. 26, 1959 - Young tourist in Ceylon, girls from Toronto and New York; Rosalyn Rappaport a night club singer from Toronto Canada and Suzanne Moos an industrial chemist from New York seen on their arrival in Colombo, Ceylon - with their scooter after an eight months extensive tour in the East - visiting Malaya Thailand, Burma, India and Singapore. Rosalyn left her family in London two years ago to settle down in Canada. Suzanne's family is in Germany. The two girls were close friends during their University days in New York. The girls said that they overcame the language difficulties whenever they arose by signs and actions
