May 05, 1958 - Attempt on World talking record.; A young man who reckoned it would take him 12 hours to say all he had on his mind, mounted a rostrum in Hounslow High-street at 9 a.m. today, and this afternoon he was still talking. 21-year old Gwynn Edwards is one of 40 students at Borough-road teachers training record. For five days and nights its their rag week they will talk their heads off. And history student Edwards thinks he could just about break the record held by Bristol students on his own.
