Julie Wilson Learns to Act At R.A.D.A.; Julie Wilson, beautiful American ex-cabaret girl and star of three west Rod Musicals, is a wise girl who realizes there is always something else to learn about your job. She has now joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London to learn acting, and although a star, she takes her place in classes everyday along side the unknowns who are students. Julie, now 27, came to London three years ago and appeared in Cabaret, before long she rocketed into the leading part in Kiss Me Kate, followed immediately by Bet your life and when Mary Larken left the cast of South Pacific, Julie Wilson took over. She says she went ahead so quickly she never had time to study acting, so in spite of the fact that her manager wants in her to go back to the United States and probably get a starring part on the strength of her success here, she prefers to spend six months or longer at R.A.D.A. in the hope that what she learn there will lead to even better parts for her in the future
