Feb. 29 REX GILDO IS GIVEN THE FIRST SYMPATHY-PRIZE BY GERMAN SHOW JOURNALISTS Because he's never out of place....the gentle singer Rex Gildo will be awarded the first Rose for his co-operative manners, his refreshing honesty and his self-irony on November 28th in West-Berlin. The West-German show journalists intend to award this sympathy-prize (a precious goldsmith's work) each year; the same is planned for The Thistle, which will be given to the artist who is the most unfriendly to the press.
