Feb. 28 The New Staging Of Richard Wagner's Lohengrin': is expected with great interest at the occassion of the Bayreuth Festivals 1953. This year Wolfgang, the younger of the two Wagner brothers, is responsible for the first time for the new staging. Eleanor Steber and Regina Resnik now represent together with Astrid Varnay the new world. They are coming from New York and came for the first time on Bayreuth ground, some days ago. Eleonor Steber is the Elsa of the Lohengrin-performance while Regina Resnik Sings the part of Sieglinde in the Walkuere'. Photo shows. the two artists just arriving at Bayreuth station
