1959 - Juliette Greco I Didn't try To commit suicide. Juliette Greco, the famous singer who was reported to have tried to commit a suicide, held a press conference at her Paris home this afternoon. She explained to newspapermen who came in great numbers to hear her version of the Attempted Suicide. Said Juliette. I am to happy to be alive to try to kill Myself. The truth is that overdid my ration of sleeping pills after a night spent in aabaret. But all's well that ends well.
