Sep. 18, 1963 - Count Basie in Deutschen Museum.. For those not in the know, that news may sound strange. They would ask, What is Count Basie doing with his big band in Munich's Deutschen Museum? The answer is nowhere near as bad as one can suppose. He is playing in the Kongresssaal. Jimmy Rushing was booked as a singing soloist.
