Jan. 01, 1965 - Adam Faith returns to London from South Africa after paying £20, 000 bond: Adam Faith, the 24 year old Pop singer who was on tour of South Africa has out his tour short to protest against the Government's refusal to allow him to sing to racially mixed audiences. The first time he tried to leave on a plane for London he was taken by Deputy Sheriff Mrs. Malan Who said she had a warrant for his arrest, with her wage two lawyers representing the Cape Town Theater manager Mr. Ron Quibell who had made out a civil court action against Faith because he has failed to finish his tour, so Faith had to pay a £20, 000 bond before he was allowed to fly home.
