Mar. 03, 1966 - Lulu Leaves For Warsaw: Lulu, the 18 year old Glaswegian Pop star, who received the Melody Maker Award as the Most promising Newcomer of 1965- is adding a new honour to her already established name- that of being the first British pop chart girl singer to undertake an Iron Curtain itinerary.
