May 27, 1969 - May 27th, 1969 Lulu husband hurt in car crash Maurice Gibb, of the Bee Gees, and husband of pop singer Lulu, was resting at his Kensington home today, after being injured in a crash in his Rolls Royce car. The 19 year old singer was thrown through the windscreen in an accident outside his home in Kinnerton Street, Kensington.
