May 05, 1970 - A NEW GROUP ON THE POP SCENE NOW....FRANKIE VAUGHAN AND THE DAUGHTERS OF THE CROSS. A new group arrives on the pop scene - Frankie Vaughan and 14 nuns from the Daughter of the Cross of Liege order. Together they have recorded an American song written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Well and entitled Peace, Brother, Peace. Peace, Brother, Peace is in fact in aid of charity. The Daughters of the Cross of Liege own St. Anthony's Hospital in north Chesm, in Surrey their members are engaged either in nursing or teaching and they are trying to raise £600, 000 to build an extension to the hospital.
