Feb. 01, 1969 - Pop Singer found dying; 21 year old pop singer, John Curtis, lead singer of the group Bob Miller's Millermen, was found dying in the road in Battersea early today. He was found lying next to his moped, on which he was returning from the Hilton hotel after a singing engagement. His voice was known to thousands through the lunch time program, which featured the group. He is believed to be a victim of a hit and run driver. Photo Shows John Curtis
