Jan. 01, 1971 - New World Pop Group Try out the new topper shows. Group from Down Under: John Kane, John Lee and Mel Nochan the Popular Australian group were to be seen in King's Road, Chelsea today trying out some of the new 1971 Topper shoe styles. There are many bold new designs including smart zebra skin cork and leather wedges and a new super shoe with Cuban heel which won a major design award in Italy. The shoes include a range of traditionally styled designs which would not disgrace the stock Exchange. Photo shows John Kane (left) wears brocade boots priced at 25gns; while in centre John Lee sports Zebra a design at 16 Gns, and on the right Mel Noonan wears medallion shoes prices 10 gns
