Jul. 27, 1970 - Young Dutch singer heintje in London: There was a photocall today at the royal Garden Hotel for the young Dutch singer Heintje, who arrived yesterday. With five single releases, and six million copies said, Heintje has become a phenomenon on the Continent. At 14, he appeared at this year's Midem festival, where he was presented with a platinums discs. Heintjehas made four feature films, and is now completing his fifth, and has sold four milion albums. Born in Bleijerheide, a little Dutch border town, Heintje aws first record Mama, which was earn him the first of 27 gold discs. With numerous European awards behind him, Heintje makes his debut in this country at a p[ress reception on Tuesday, July 28th, as a prelude to TV and radio shows.
