1969 - Triumph for Mirjam Makeba: In general swiss audiences are not very enthousiastic. But the south-african blues and folklore singer Mirjam Makeba impressed the swiss youth in the concert halls of Zurich, Basle, Lausanne and Geneva, so that in Zurich for instance she had an applaus of nearly half an hour.
