May 05, 1975 - A Gold Disc for Shirley Bassey: Singer Shirley Bassey was today presented with a Gold Disc by Martin Davis, Managing Director of United States Record (UK) for British sales of The Shirley Bassey Singles Album'. Shirley arrived by air at Heathrow Airport where the presentation was made. She will be in U.K. for a short period to record for a new album and her visits coincides with a release of a new United Artists single on May 9th entitled Good, Bad but Beautiful.
