Feb. 13, 1976 - FEBRUARY 13th - 1976 THE REFLECTIONS LAUNCH THEIR NEW SINGLE WHENEVER I°M AWAY FROM YOU REFLECTIONS, one of Britain's top harmony groups* have launched their new single this week called WHENEVER I'M AWAY FROM YOU, The group who began their career as SPLINTER came up against a problem when ex-Beatle George Harrison chose a group called SPLINTER to launch his new Dark Horse record label.So the members of SPLINTER mark 1 gave in gracefully and renamed their group REFLECTIONS Now fate, in the shape of an American soul group named The Reflections, has reared its head once again - but this time REFLECTIONS are standing their ground and refuse to change their name again.
