Oct. 10, 1977 - PERRY COMO LAUNCHES THE BEST OF BRITISH ALBUM AT THE CAFE ROYAL. America's favourite singer Perry Como flew into London this week to launch a new album called The Best of British (RCA) and at the same time films a TV spectacular to be titled Perry Como's Olde Englishe Christmas. The album will be a tribute, in Jubilee Year, to some of the best of British songs and song writers.
