Mar. 14, 1977 - She bought the piano at an auction in Paris. Chopin composed his 8 last works on the piano. Countess Obreskoff, the wife of Ambassador of Russia, gave Chopin the piano. Pleyel bought it after Chopin died in 1849. The CEO of Claridge, Mr. Cozzi, was its previous owner. May bought the piano for 65, 000 francs. She will donate the piano to the Frederic Chopin Institute in Warsaw upon her death
