Oct. 10, 1976 - Louis Armstrong Arrives, Greeted by A Young Fan. Louis Satchmo Armstrong arrived at London Airport yesterday, and waiting to give him a welcome was one of his biggest fans, 9 years old Enrico Tomasso, who had made the journey from Yorkshire with his father, Mr. Ernie Tomasso, a clarinet player. Enrico had with him the trumpet he's been playing for only three years as Louis listened, Enrico serenaded him with Sleepy Time Down South.
