Oct. 10, 1976 - International singing star Demis Roussos is presented with Gold and Silver awards at the Royal Albert Hall: International singing star, Demis Roussos, was last night awarded a silver disc for his L. P. Fire and Ice, denoting U. K. sales exceeding ?100, 000: gold discs for his L. P.'s Happy to be, My only Fascination and Souvenirs, denoting U. K. sales exceeding ?250, 000; also a siver disc for exceeding 250, 000 copies; plus a gold cassette for Forever and ever, the album of which has been gold in the U. K. for over a year.
