Mar. 03, 1980 - 65th Birthday Of Swjatoslaw Richer: 65 years old will become the world-famous Russian pianist Swjatoslaw Theophilowitsch (pict.) on the 20th of March 1980. He was born in Schitomir in 1915 and got his first instructions by his father. Later he went to Moscow in order to continue his studies. Soon the steep career of Swjatoslaw Richter was beginning; he became one of the most famous pianists of the present time. Since 20 years he is traveling around the whole world, gibing concerts. He got numerous honouring and prices. At the moment his health seems not to be the best. at least he concealed a concert, which was planned in Paris/France on April 418th; his manager declared, that Richter will undergo a treatment in his home-country
