Aug. 08, 1980 - American Rock Band Tubes In Concert At At Hammersmith Odeon: Tubes, second to none in the New Wave sounds, proved a big success in London recently on their tour of Britain. Biggest imact on their group performance was Fee Waybill. During the two hour concert, Fee Waybill plays two different parts, one as a Rotten Punk Rocker, dressed in traditional clothing of outrageous colours and dirty worn out desecrated garments, abusing the audience with his worn out lyrics. Playing the second of his two characters, Fee Waybill staggers onto the stage in hideously over-sized high-heeled shoes. Here he portrays Quay Lewd, a lanky ling haired freak, with a sense of domination over the audience, now out to smoothe over the violent antics of his predecessor
