Oct. 10, 1981 - Beautiful Gigi: When Jim Garner was in London making Victor/ Victoria he played a tape of his daughter GIGI singing, to co-producer of the film Tony Adams. Tony had just formed Runaway Records. Tony was looking for talent and so when she arrived in London a week later she was immediately whisked off to a recording studio where she put in ten hours recording Boudleaux Bryant's Love Hurts and Steve Colyer's If Loving was Wasy, as well as two other Colyer songs. Rotadt and Newton-john, but it is a special, smoky sound that is just Gigi. Picture shows: Gigi Garner photographed in London today
