Dec. 30, 1976 - December 30th 1976 Bay City Rollers turn on the Tokyo teenagers Thousands of Tokyo teenagers crowded the Budokan (Hall of Martial Arts) in Tokyo to hear a concert given by the well-known pop group The Bay City Rollers. Young girls fainted with the excitement and had to be carried out by policemen and attendants. During their performance, smoke candles were lit on the stage for dramatic effects which made some of the fans weep.
