One Hundred years museum for art and trade in Hamburg - Special Exhibition Baroque sculpture in North Germany is the title of an exhibition, which now as highlight of the jubilee year is being held in the one hundred - year -old museum for art and trade in Hamburg. Shown are about 300 sculptures of different materials, wood, marble, alabaster, bronze, ivory, amber, made between 1600 and 1750. The geographical room includes Schleswig - Holstein, the Hanseatic towns from Bremen to Danzig, Lower Saxony, Westphalia, Hesse-Kassel, Saxony, Brandenburg-Prussia, regions, which in this sector of art stood in the shadow of the South German and Austrian baroque till now. Many lenders at home and abroad made the works available, among these are the famous works of Ludwig Muenstermann, Balthasar Permoser and Andreas Schlueter who made this bronze bust of the Landgrave Friedrich II of Hesse-Hamburg in 1701
