1953 - Belles And Bonnets On Parade: One of the biggest ever Easter Bonnet Parades took place today at Luton - the world famous-hat making town. Some forty or more decorated vehicles, including hensom cabs, at took part in a procession through the town. Photo shows Four daffodil girls with parasols - seen in a carriage in today's procession.
