Aug. 19, 1953 - Much fun in Ruhpolding, Upper Bavaria: On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the costume club called D Rauschberger from Zell which held a festive day in Ruhpolding there was yesterday quite an unexpected incident. After the men had drunk the last drop of beer there was to be a contest of the bands on the roofs of the houses. The boys who had drunk too much hoisted the members of the music bands up to the roofs. And already during the hoisting up the trumpets were blowing loudly for the fun of the gathering people and guests
