Sep. 09, 1952 - An Unsinkable Swim-Suit Demonstrated In The Thames. Models With The Costumes In Different Styles. An unsinkable swim-suit which looks like an ordinary bathing suit was demonstrated in the Thames at Battersea Festival Gardens this afternoon. A number of models paraded and were placed into the water - including an eight year old girl - a 32 year old polio victim - and the new swim suit kept them afloat. Keystone Photo Shows:- Models seen wearing the new costume in different styles - L-R: Jean Marsh; Lillemor Knudson; Shirley Burniston and 8 year old Susie Aveyard
