A model of courage, is 22 year old Jean Maley the deaf and dumb girl from Australia who in five months has become a top mannequin and who has found romance. She and her friend Doreen Maclegh, who is also deaf and dumb, use up a couple of writing pads a day in conversation. When she arrived in England, Jean was already a 0 a week mannequin, and she was spotted by a talent count soon after arrival and made her an offer which she accepted.
