Nov. 11, 1953 - Ferguson Fabrics Used by Leading Designers for new Spring Fabrics. To mark new developments in the Ferguson Fabrics range - leading fashion designers have modeled 1954 Spring Fashions in cotton, rayon and nylon fabrics. This morning they were shown at Canduit Street before many personalities. Photo Shows (left) Michael uses plain white pigue for an unbelted afternoon dress won under a coat with a fitted bodice, and very full skirt which falls in wide unpressed pleats. The coat is in Brown printed Panama pique on a White ground. It is lines throughout in brown, and is called Henley'. (right); Pierre Balmain makes a short evening dress and bolero called Louseciannes'. It is diamond patterned Red and White Goodwood. With two narrow shoulder straps, the dress has an emerald green swathed sash round the waist and there is a broad band of White Caganza at the hem appliqued on in points
