May 05, 1954 - Crepella fashions on show.: A display of clothes knitted from Crepella, a unique crepe hand knitting yarn, produced of viscose and acetate in several fancy twisting processes by British Depa Crepes Ltd and distributed for them by C.B. Wools (Manchester Ltd, were shown in London today). The clothes shown today were specially created by Maureen Evans in conjunction with Rosalind Anthony. Photo shows (L to R): Slack Moments - Causal jersey with the new long look in dark navy Crepella. Wide V neckline picked up with scalloped edge which is repeated on the sleeves. Worn here with striped jeans, and Merry Go Round - Playtime jersey in brilliant horizontal stripes coming from a cuffed dolman sleeve. Offset by a deep vertical welt in black and finished with a double row of colour. The whole is knitted in double Crepella worn with black jeans
