Jul. 07, 1959 - French Mannequin Parachutist Makes Forced Landing At Raf Base - And Continues In The Air Race: Taking part in the Bleriot Anniversary race today is French mannequin-parachutist Colette Duval. The twin-jet bomber - a Vatour - made a forced landing at Kenley R.A.F. Base and over-shot the runway. It is though that the base was mistakes for Biggin Hill. Neither Miss Duval or her pilot Captain Fribaine were injured. Milie Duval continued her journey to Biggin Hill by care. Photo shows Colette Duval seen in the helicopter which was diversed to Kenley from Biggin Hill after the mishap this afternoon
