Feb. 25 Mrs Spencer makes her cosmetics- Burmese style: Mya-Mya, Mrs Millicent Spencer with some of her sandalwood blocks from which her powders are made. She is pouring water on a young sandalwood block which is ground on a abrasive, the result being a creamy paste which flows into a moat round the edge of the board. The paste can be stored or used immediately. The small lumps in the box on her left are Mye-Nha-Che, which can be round into a powder paste or rubbed on the skin as they are
