Feb. 29 Will Liz's No lead to success: Ray Barrett is famed as the Troubleshooter. But he's also a valuable friend and adviser to beginners in show business. For 19 year old Liz Parker, model and aspiring actress from Belfast (pictured here), the temptation was to say Yes. when asked to do a nude scene in the first film part she was offered. Having been advised before by Barrett, it was to him she turned again who advised against it as it was my first film. And so came the No'. I felt very relied after refusing the part and was very glad of the advice of Ray, who i had met through a mutual friend. I might well have taken the part just to get my first break. But new i am sure i would have regretted it, says Liz. Since then this tall, slim bleade has had several ether offers which she is considering, as well as continuing her modelling. And so, with her looks, ability and good friend Ray Barrett behind her she seems set for a fair career in her chosen profession
