Mar. 31 Paper Dresses For BOAC Stewardesses: BOAC Stewardesses are to wear colorful paper dresses this winter to add a holiday touch to flight from New York to Caribbean. The dresses, fire proofed, of course, will be won only once and then thrown away and replaced by fresh one for the next flight. Basically white, the dresses are overprinted with cerise and purple flowers and green leaves and will have a sun motif on the bodies. The girl also wear tights, the dresses can be cut to a mini length and they will also wear green approval and white gloves. The new design has the approval both of BOAC's stewardesses and its chairman, Sir Giles Guthrie.
