Feb. 29 Art Galore - Lord and Lady Montague's Swinging Boutique: Boutiques are still bursting out all over. The latest venture is by Lord and Lady Montague of Beauleu (of old crooks fame) who have brought the swinging gear to Guildford in the shape of Art Galore'. So well is this boutique doing that Lord and Lady Montague and their partner Michael Pappernik decided they needed a cover girl to publish in their own wall catalogue. The teenage customers of Art Galore can take one of these wall catalogues, display them at home in friend's homes and for this they receive 10% of each sale made. These catalogues are a wild success in the USA where agents have scared to 1000 in numbers in just a few weeks. Most popular places for display there are the Universities and it is planned that Lesley, the cover girl should tour the American Colleges next year as part of a promotion drive of the clothes on sale at Art Galore'. Most startling garment on sale is the Al Capone suit which can be worn by either sex. An exact replica of the famous gangster's suit was obtained by studying photographs of the 30's and writing to Sing-Sing for details of the suit. Every garment made for the boutique is exclusive to the shop and prices are kept low; some outfits costing as little as 45/11.
