Apr. 17 Arab-Style Bikinis The latest in Bathing Fashion : In response to there one-pieces, which have become fashionable again this summer, Japanese Fumiko Yoshikawa has designed the Makramee-Tanga'. The bikini which covers only the necessary parts, is made of a specially solid cotton yarn, buttoned with an Arab technique called Makremee'. Now, Fumiko Yoshikawa, who worked as a model in Sapporo but now lives in Augsburg/West-Germany, hopes that there will be many daring girls who will make the new bikini popular.
