Oct. 12, 1961 - Furs of Africa were a hit in Hamburg: In Hamburg, for the first time for the coming winter 1961/62 a collection was shown of South-West African fur industry. The Shown models astonished even the most pretentious Hamburg ladies. There were cape-like coats of tomato-coloured Persian lamb, cognac-coloured jackets of Persian lamb with knitted sleeves and a beautiful asymmetrical cape-coat of black South-West African fur looking similar to Persian lamb
