May 05, 1963 - Europe's top Amateur dressmakers. met in Frankfurt, Germany, for the final of the Competition of Needle Princess Europe 1963'. the winners of the national competitions from all European Countries presented the finest dresses they had Taylored at home. Awarded with the first price was Mrs. Aruni Winkel-Wasuwong, a born thai who lives in the Nether lands. she presented a selfmade complet to the jury(center). second place was given to Mrs.Waltraud Wagner, Germany(right) for an evening dress, and runner-up on third place was Miss Monika Behrend fromerlin with a fine afternoon dress
