Jul. 07, 1966 - Young Fashion Designer Breaks Down And Weeps As He Is Chosen The Outright Winner of Cinzano Fashion Competition: Today was the turning point in the life of a young fabric and fashion designer, 22-year-old Mr.Cameron Robert Scott, from Eintore, near, Aberdeen. He was chosen as the outright winner in the Count Cinzano Fabric into Fashion Foundation competition from 21 area finalists gathered at the Savoy Hotel today. There were some 1, 075 entries. As the outright winner, Mr. Scott receives a 250 cheque, plus six months in Italy, training with Emilio Pui, Area of Montanini. On return from Italy he will be required to submit a short thesis on what he has learnt over the six months course. After receiving his cheque from the Duke of Bedford, Mr. Scott found the surprise was too great and he broke down and cried.
