Dec. 12, 1967 - French Competitor for the International Cover Girl 1968 Title. Twenty year old Sylvette Blanc, French competitor for the coveted title, International Cover Girl 1968, is learning to do quick personality swaps with the help of wigs and hair pieces. For, as all aspiring models know, the basis of the profession is to look as different as possible with every garment change. Twiggy shaped Sylvette, who comes from Toulouse, is being tutored in the art of quick change looks at the West End Salon of London Hairdresser, Robert Fielding of Regent Street. Sylvette normally wears her own brown hair very long very straight, accentuating her wistfully pretty looks. She came to London eight months ago and currently has two ambitions, to improve her English and to win the title, International Cover Girl 1968. She will compete against 15 other girls in London on January 30th. OPS: Sylvette Blanc seen wearing a wig, in the West End salon of hairdressers, Robert Fielding yesterday
