Nov. 06, 1967 - Sweden's Miss Teenage visits swinging London. Sweden's Miss Teenage - pretty, blonde 17-year-old Birgitta Haglind from Gothenburg, arrived in London today to present a gift to international make -up man, David and Eric Aylott of Eylure, and will spend a week in Swinging London as their guests. During her stay Miss Haglind will learn how to make herself up under the professional guidance of the Aylott brothers so that she can demonstrate the Swinging London Look by Eylure at the Teenage Fair in Gothenburg, 17-22nd. November. This is the first Teenage Fair in Europe and there are plans for future fairs to be held in London, Paris and Dusseldorf. The gift from Sweden - an antique sewing -machine gaily printed in contemporary style - is a symbol of the youngs girls in Sweden, and their excitement about new fashions, new looks. The gift will be prodly displayed in Eylure's new make-up centre Let's Face It, when it opens in the West End Later this year.
