May 21, 1968 - Radio I Disc Jockey Derby Dolly: Ten pretty girls were at Pop Inn, the Tuesday live lunchtime show at BBC's The Paris Studio, Lower Regent Street today, to compete for the title of Radio One's Disc Jockey Derby Dolly'. They were the semi-finalists chosen from contestants all over the country who want to be the first Radio I pop hostess on Disc Jockey Derby, which returns in a new series on June 4. Four finalists were interviewed on Pop Inn during the programme by Keith Fordyce and the winning dolly was announced at the end of the show.
