Sep. 09, 1966 - Twiggy Helps With The Exports: Berkertex, a London Fashion House, took to the air to show their Autumn/Winter 66 Collection to the surprised, but nevertheless delight of passengers aboard a British Eagle BAC 1-11 scheduled flight to Tunisia today. Models, shackled in chains, were being taken to be auctioned off (we mean the dresses not the models), in the Tunisian markets, Onlookers thought new drastic steps were being taken to increase our exports by operating a new industry in White Slaves. However, this is just Berkertex's way of bringing to notice their new export drive to the North African markets and in this case Tunisia. Twiggy the most publicised and photographed model of the year was traveling with Berkertex on their trip to Tunisia and will be the Slave Trader in charge of the White Slaves and helping with export drive of Berkertex. Photo shows Twiggy, seen with her manager and boy friend, Justin de Villeneuve, about to board the aircraft at London Airport today
