Sep. 09, 1966 - The Adhesive Beauty Spot Go Multi-Coloured. Ten million stick-on dots will flood the beauty market. The adhesive beauty spot is a simple idea. Madame Pompadour used it long ago. Now the beauty spot has broken out into a multi-coloured rash. The girl in our picture is stuck all over with 120 Dotties - the stick-on coloured discs designed by Adrien Mann for a firm which calls itself Dotties Ltd. A girl can dot anything. Face, Fingers, Hair, Eyelids, Bosom, Legs. She can make a bracelet with them, or a stocking seam. Use the dots as a stop for a ladder. A 4s. lld. packet contains 36 dots. Large dots are the size of half a sixpence, and mini-dots half that size. They come in gold or silver, or in all colours from bubonic plaque yellow to chicken-pox pink. Nicest point about the spots is that they are backed with medicated adhesive, so there is no chance of irritating the skin and causing the real thing to break out underneath
